【摘要】:1ProductdefinitionThisstandardcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementswhichaterminatedandassembledmultimodeMT-RJconnectorset(plugadapterplug)mustmeetinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.Sincedifferentvariantsarepermitted,productmarkingdetailsaregivenin3.5.2IntermateabilityAllproductsconformingtotherequirementsofthisstandardwillintermateandgivethespecifiedlevelofrandomattenuationandrandomreturnlossperformanceprovidedthesamecoresizeisused.Theintentionisthatthiswillbetrueirrespectiveofthemanufacturingsource(s)oftheproduct.3OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseverityanddurationarerepresentativeofacustomerpremiseprotectedenvironmentasdefinedinEN50173andISO/IEC11801andasspecifiedincategoryCperIEC61753-1.4ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisstandarddoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.5QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisstandarddoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.
