【摘要】:Theplasticitynumberandtherecoveryofthetestspecimenarerelatedtotheflowpropertiesandtheelasticproperties,respectively,andmaybeusefulinpredictingprocessingcharacteristics,suchaseaseofformingandextrusioncharacteristics.Inthistestmethod,plasticityismeasuredinaninversemanner,asnotedbythefinalheightofthespecimen.Thus,highplasticityrubbers(highdegreeofflowduringtest)areindicatedbyalowplasticitynumber.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofplasticityandrecoveryofunvulcanizedrubberbymeansoftheparallelplateplastometer.Uncompounded,compounded,andreclaimrubbermaybetested.Note18212;ISO2007andTestMethodD3194useaprinciplesimilartothistestmethodalthoughtheapparatus,testconditions,andprocedurearedifferent.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
